If you’re a girl looking for inspiration for a festival outfit for the summer of 2016 – be it for Untold Festival, Spellground or Summer Well Festival – this might help you. And if you’re a guy who wants to see a lot of photos of beautiful women in wonderful outfits, this might help you.
The festival outfits for girls are more fun, more creative and have a sense of freedom about it. It’s a lot of bohemian shorts, fringes, dresses, a looot of lace, leather boots and as many accesories as one could get. If you look through the outfits that I chose from Pinterest, you’ll see that the perfect festival outfit is like a romantic wild child, the child of a dream catcher and a fun adventure into the night.
Girls just wanna have fun. And here’s how they do it. First you have ……… outfit ideas from Pinterest, for different kind of silhouettes and ages. Then you have a few ideas from Romanian designers – with links if you wanna buy any of the outfits. I asked my Facebook friends to send them in, if they are designers – which a lot of them are – or if they know any good designers that whose creations would match the festival mood. I got some funny ideas and some great ones too.
At first, you have the fringe mania. It will make your every move around the festival a show.
The Aztec mania goes to boots as well. Why should you wear rubber boots and ruin your outfit when you can pimp them in a festival style? I wish I saw this photo before Electric Castle.
The Harley Davidson classic rock chic with shorts, a dark tshirt and plaid shirt.
Crop tops and shorts are still in this year. They’re comfy, they’re sexy, they’re fun. The festival style from last year is kind of like the same one from this year, maybe the trends from 2015 took a bigger place and became the usual festival outfit.
White lace. Bohemian chic. And that’s all you need to know about it.
Kimono power is still on as well, with more flowers and in a more punk-romantic way than before. They’re good for covering yourself from the afternoon sun and they’ll keep you warm in the night. And make you look like you just got out of bed.
The 90’s bandana kid is still on as well. It’s just classier, not that sporty anymore.
Full of color. It’s how you feel on the inside that shows on the outside. Or the way you choose to chanel your personality or your mood.
Overalls. This is probably one the main “trends” for this year, as I’ve seen a lot of people at Electric Castle wearing them. They come in all different sizes and shapes and colors and mood, best suited to your personality. The green one is quirky, the dark one is mysterious and the red one is fun and hippie.
And some more inspiration. Off the shoulder blouses are in too.
So here’s how you can enjoy some of these outfits from Romanian designers.
First, you have the overalls from HappyFriday – you can order them here!
Then you have these wonderful outfits and pieces from Kattja – see more on her Facebook page!
And the best festival capsule collection for this summer belongs to Romanian blogger Alina Ceusan and her special Festival Moja Collection. It has the essentials for a cool festival wardrobe: fringes, crop tops, off the shoulder blouse, white lace and a kimono. You can buy it here!
