I just watched online the Burberry Prorsum A/W 2014 collection and was impressed with the relaxed look, the hand painted floral bags and the colorful scarves that were put right where they belong: on the shoulders. The best thing about it is that Burberry made it look manly and after seeing the entire show it seems so random to throw a silk scarf on your shoulders (don’t do it tight around your neck) and just walk around. Usually I find it quite hard to wear a colorful scarf without looking a bit feminine but this it’s properly done.

Because of Instagram and all the filters that have changed the fashion photography forever, the main trends for 2014 include rich and saturated colours and Burberry went for “inky blues, bottle greens and deep browns with dashes of amber yellow, dark tangerine and red” – that’s how they describe it best. It’s not as colorful and playful as I expected but it’s one of their best collections yet.

From start to finish it’s a full ready to wear collection and the main attraction, besides the silk scarves, are the oversized hand painted bags. You got handles at the top and side so you can use it landscape or portrait.

My favorite looks are these ones:
