Browsing through Instagram this morning, I was thinking that it’s already been two years since people use the hashtags #allblack  , #backtoblack on their posts with black outfits. So the question is: is it still in trend to use #allblack #backtoblack htag in Instagram? Can you still do that and be considered a stilish dude? And more over, how can you wear all black without being boring?

The answer came pretty simple & clear: a BLACK suit is never out of trend. You can always wear black on black with your black shoes, boots or whatever and be in trend, stylish and interesting.

When thinking about what are the essential things you should buy for your “stilish dude” part of the closet, it’s very important to have black stuff in your wardrobe. It can be black elegant shoes or sneakers, a black suit or a black polo t-shirt, a black hat or  dark sunglasses.

Yet, you have to wear it and look interesting, fashionable and feel comfortable in it. Even if Anna Wintour does not like it,  black will never be dead in fashion. And black will never be boring if people know how to make it interesting with details.

How to wear ALL BLACK without being boring?

There’s a lot of people who write and promote the idea that you must not go for simple, you should always go for complicated because they think simple = boring and complicated = interesting, sophisticated. Which is not true. Wearing as many colorful clothes as you can will make you look like a monkey or a parrot. And a acting or dressing like a monkey will never be stilish unless we go back to the cave man. The best way is to find a balance between them.

Black can make everyone look amazing. Black is elegant and chic, black is slimming, black looks good on all skin tones, black looks good with all hair colors, black looks as good on men as it does on women.

Just feel free to mix another colorful detail to make your #allblack outfit more interesting. It can be colorful socks, a colorful hat, a colorful bag, whatever you think will match your outfit.

Add interest with accessories. It becomes the statement piece of your outfit. It will always work and make your look more interesting.

Vary the fabrics and textures in an all black outfit. You can mix textures without the fear of creating an overly busy ensemble. On the fabric note, make sure the fabric selection is season appropriate.

When putting together a black-on-black, fit becomes even more important. Take advantage of the fact that black is slimming and have the clothes be more fitted and flattering, rather than shapeless and drab.

Use your #allblack hashtag on social media and be proud that u can wear all black and still be interesting in one color. Black is the strongest color.
