“The little quiet man” is my second fashion editorial and my first one with Raluca Ciornea, a minimalist story about that we both created at Amber Gardens. What do you do when you’re looking for a quiet, silent time?
I want to start by saying that the mood that I had while working with Raluca was amazing everytime. But for this shooting – it was by far, the best mood ever. I have felt so comfortable and it was so creative and such an intense and energetic connection that we shared and we just fed of each other’s mood. It’s the best kind of chemistry that you can have with a photographer.
“The little quiet man” is the story of a dude who’s looking for silence. I used to look for pop culture imagery and happy images but for this fall, I feel the quiet, the silence, the minimalism, the shapes that new modern architecture brings, the black and white and the rain that was falling while doing this shoot.
The thanks go to Amber Gardens (the location, a wonderful residential area with houses like this one that felt like home) and my good friend Ludmila Tones for always encouraging the wannabe artist in me and always telling me to “make wishes, have dreams, be happy and they will come true”. She’s been telling me that for years and I am so so grateful for making our vision come true.
